CALL FOR PAPERS DEADLINE: 16 April, 2003
The International Conference on Computers in Education 2003 (ICCE 2003) to
be held from 2-5 December, 2003 in Hong Kong. The ICCE 2003 is organized
by the Asia-Pacific Chapter of the Association for the Advancement of
Computing in Education (AACE) (http://www.aace.org).
Jointly hosted by The Hong Kong Institute of Education, The University of
Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of
Science and Technology, City University of Hong Kong, Education and
Manpower Bureau and the Hong Kong Association for Computer Education.
CONFERENCE THEMES
Main theme:
The “Second Wave” of ICT in Education: from facilitating teaching and
learning to engendering education reform.
Sub-themes:
* Leadership in E-education
* Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL)
* Pathways to innovations
* Evaluating teaching and learning technologies
This conference is committed to advancing the use of ICT in education and
training. Leaders from academia, industry, government and schools will
present the latest developments while delegates will be able to discuss the
issues and challenges currently facing the ICT community. ICCE 2003 will
act as a major forum for the presentation of innovative developments in the
Asia-Pacific region and internationally. It is an excellent opportunity
for like-minded educators, practitioners and researchers who are working at
the forefront of learning and teaching with ICT to meet face-to-face and
interact.
In addition to publication in the conference Proceedings, accepted ICCE
2003 papers will be electronically published in and internationally
distributed by the AACE Digital Library, http://www.aace.org/DL
The scope of the conference is wide-ranging and the themes will hold the
attention of all participants over four critical days. We look forward to
your participation and contribution.
